S — 01 / STUDIO

The studio.

A small studio, one principal, design-led. We work with a small number of clients each year on the AI that runs alongside their team.

S — 02 — Practice

The shape of the practice.

One studio, design-led. One principal. A small number of clients each year. The shape of the engagement is sized to the work, not to a sales target.

We don't grow the team to fit the engagement. We hold the practice's shape so the judgment doesn't dilute. Smaller pipeline, deeper work. The thing we measure is whether what we ship still runs in your business a year later.

S — 03 — How it starts

How it starts.

Three steps. No theater.

Step · 01

Call.

Thirty minutes. You tell us what's costing you time. We tell you if we can help. No deck, no pitch.

Step · 02

Build.

A small first project, two to four weeks. Real software shipping into your business. You see it work before you scale it.

Step · 03

Expand.

If it works, we move into the next lane. If it doesn't, you keep what we built and walk away.

S — 04 — A longer engagement

How a longer engagement runs.

The first project is usually two to four weeks. If it goes well, what follows looks something like this.

Month One

Map.

We sit with the people doing the work. Find where AI fits, and where it doesn't. The deliverable of the first month is a small system, not a deck.

Month Three

Build.

The first system ships and runs alongside your team. Real software, doing real work, owned by you from day one.

Month Six

Operate.

Your team runs it without us. We're available for the next project. The system stays after we leave.

What we don't do
  • We don't sell audits. We sit with you and learn the business.
  • We don't staff teams. One principal, deep work, full accountability.
  • We don't ship decks. We ship working software.
  • We don't compete with your engineering team. We design what they build on — or build it for you if you don't have one.
  • We don't take engagements where the model is already picked. The model isn't the work.

Design the fit.
Not the pitch.

I sit with the people doing the work before I touch a model. Most AI projects fail not because the model is wrong, but because nobody designed the system around it — the workflow, the team using it, the way it actually fits the business. That's the part the studio builds. Everything else is engineering.
